CORE Health Care offers post-acute rehabilitation and long-term care for people with brain injuries, psychiatric disorders, autism or other special needs. Licensed professionals provide physical, occupational, speech, vision,
cognitive, and psychotherapy. Our goal is to restore self-directed functional ability to ensure a minimal need for
support services. At CORE Health Care, we understand that a brain injury does not just impact the life of the injured person, but in fact has a significant impact on the entire family. We also understand that a healthy family support system can be very beneficial to our client’s healing. We’re here to support not only our clients, but their families as well.Until recently, scientists believed brains were hard-wired and that therapies could only compensate for brain damage, not repair it. But new discoveries prove that the brain has a natural ability to redevelop far greater than previously believed. By uncovering the treatment factors that support this ‘neuroplasticity’—the brain’s ability to change—and applying them to rehabilitative efforts, CORE Health Care is dramatically changing the treatment of brain injuries.
